Ride the Lightning to your dreams with the Metallica Scholars scholarship program, designed to help you Fade to Black on financial barriers. Support is available NOW to Seek & Destroy tuition fees for the Industrial Automation & Robotics and Mechanical Maintenance Technology (Operator 1) programs.

Up to $1,000 (per academic year toward tuition, books or supplies) is available to eligible students who apply before September 4, 2026, for the Industrial Automation and Robotics and Mechanical Maintenance programs for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Industrial Automation & Robotics
In BSC’s Industrial Automation & Robotics program, you’ll learn to install, maintain, repair, operate, and troubleshoot the machines and control systems that power today’s automated industries. Through hands-on, project-based learning, you’ll build a strong foundation in electronics, electrical systems, mechanical components, robotics, and control systems—plus how to integrate them to boost productivity and efficiency in industrial settings.

Eligibility

For full consideration, students must meet the following criteria during the 2026-2027 academic year:
  • Be enrolled and maintain full-time status.
  • Have completed the Metallica Scholars Application.
  • If taking the program for college credit, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
  • Be a US citizen or permanent resident.
  • Willingness to participate in marketing activities and events, such as social media, interviews, photography, kick-off events, etc.

Application Process for New Students 鈥� Degree Seeking

 
  1. Complete the Metallica Scholars Application. 
  2. Apply and be accepted to BSC for Fall 2026 admission, if degree seeking.
  3. Enroll in classes.
